The Post Christmas Shoot

While still digesting the many Christmas cookies i indulged in, i headed out to meet up with a family (and their dogs) who travelled in from Ohio and South Carolina to spend the holiday together. It was a pleasure to get to know some new people while catching up with a growing bambino! Here is a peek at some of the photos we took!

Palm Springs, California

This past weekend i had the luxurious pleasure of jetting out to Palm Springs for a wedding! While the emphasis of the weekend was on our dear friend marrying the love of his life, i did of course bring my camera. The Parker, Palm Springs is so uniquely decorated- actually, all of Palm Springs offers a lot of character. The themes of the designs are carried out to the last detail. It was absolute eye candy for me.

i was a little obsessed with this light up sign. A print of the sign will be in my next show- to be sure!

The full moon lit up the tops of the palm trees so beautifully. i was in absolute awe and stood like such a fool, breaking my neck to try and capture the magnificence:

A glimpse of the main event:

i thought this was so clever: a rolodex full of blank cards that the guests could write well wishes for the newlyweds upon.

Again, i was looking up… at this amazing chandelier.

Welcome, welcome Little One

My best girl had a baby. (You may remember her from her pregnancy photos in the lake?) i took my camera to the hospital to snap a few pics of the fresh wee one before he was 24 hours old. Then again today, i had the pleasure of visiting and snapping a few more photos. We tried to get creative, but this guy wanted little to do with our squishing him and molding him into poses. (i don’t know how Anne Geddes does it.) Welcome to the world, little guy. 🙂
